Matcha the magic green powder
Like green tea and red tea, Match? is extracted from the camellia Insistent plant. What differs the types of teas extracted from this same plant are elements like the fermentation and maturation of the leaves.
Among the promises of the magical green powder are to dissolve the fat present in the body and accelerate metabolism. Match? tea is more concentrated than many others and therefore the results are achieved more quickly. In addition to accelerating metabolism is a great antioxidant, which improves concentration and decreases anxiety. It consists of a substance called L-Theanine, which modulates the GABA neurotransmitter, the main inhibitor of our nervous system.
In Portugal, the novelty is still little known, but is already available in some national stores: Celeiro, Ch?s do Mundo or Ervan?ria Portuense are some of the options.
The versatility of Match? is another plus. It can be used to make juices, cakes, and biscuits or else it can be enjoyed in its most classic form of consumption: tea. The taste is similar to that of green tea, but a bit stronger, giving the recipes a complex and delicate flavor.
1. Match? tea with Ginger

1 teaspoon ginger, grated
50 ml boiled water
Boil the water separately and keep the temperature at 70 degrees. Add the match? powder and grated ginger in the cup and pour the hot water. Stir quickly and dilute the tea. Sugar to taste.
2. Brownies of Match?
150 grams unsalted butter, melted
8 tablespoons of sunflower oil
325 grams of powdered sugar
2 eggs
300 grams of flour
2 tablespoons match?
2 teaspoons baking powder
? teaspoon of salt

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a frying pan, melt butter on low heat and mix with oil, sugar, eggs. Mix the dry ingredients and add to the liquid mixture. Grease with butter and flour a shape about 24 cm and place the dough gently into shape. Bake for about 25 minutes. The cake should be firm to the touch, but soft and with a semi-raw texture inside. Let cool and cut into squares.
3. Smoothie of Match? and Cocoa
150 ml of rice milk
1 tablespoon cream of rice
50ml of coconut milk
3 teaspoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons matches
1 tablespoon demerara sugar
Beat the ingredients in the blender until you get a creamy texture.
4. Banana Cake with Match?
2 cups demerara sugar
150 grams of rice flour
30 grams of potato starch
A bit of salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 teaspoons matches
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 organic eggs
2 bananas
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Separate the egg yolks and whisk the egg whites castle. Book it. In a bowl put the sugar, the flour and the potato starch, a pinch of salt, the match?, cinnamon powder and the yeast, mixing well with a spoon. With a fork, crush the bananas. Add the yolks and the oil, and then the bananas and wrap everything. At the end, gently add the egg whites to the dough. Grease the form with coconut oil, pour the dough and place the bananas. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and let it bake for about 40 minutes.
5. Truffles of Match?
200 grams of white chocolate
100 grams of fresh cream
20 grams of butter
2 tablespoons almond flour
2 tablespoons match? coffee
1 tablespoon green match?
Mince the white chocolate. Boil the cream and then pour 3 times in a row over the chocolate. When the chocolate is completely melted, add the butter. Mix well and add the almond flour and match?. Once the mixture is homogeneous let stand for 1-2 hours in the freezer. Once the dough is hardened, make small balls and go through the remaining matches.
6. Match? ice cream (For this recipe you need an ice cream maker)
750 ml whole milk
150 ml of sour cream
4 egg yolks
150 grams of sugar
3 teaspoons matches
? teaspoon vanilla extract
Place the milk and sour cream in a medium saucepan and remove from the stove when it starts to boil. In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar and match it for a few minutes, until thickened. Slowly pour the hot milk mixture, never stopping to stir. Pour the mixture back into the pan, on medium-low heat, and stir for 10-12 minutes until thickened enough to cover a spoon. Pass the cream through a sieve to obtain a fine and homogeneous liquid. Finally, place the liquid in the ice cream machine until you get the desired consistency.
