Premium Matcha 100 Grams

As the highest grade of Matcha currently offered by Aiya, the Premium Grade Matcha provides a level of quality typically reserved for high-class Japanese tea ceremonies. With tons of natural sweetness (umami flavor) from the L-Theanine amino acids, this grade is usually served as Koi-cha (thick tea), but can also be enjoyed as Usu-cha (thin tea). For the true tea connoisseur, Aiya premium Matcha provides a level of quality that is typically reserved for high-class Japanese tea ceremonies. While daily consumption is encouraged, this grade is typically reserved for special occasions. Aiya has a network of over 200 farmers, yet only a few have the knowledge to achieve this premium quality tea. It contains the highest amount of L-Theanin amino acids in Aiya’s product line, a true rare treat. All of Aiya’s Matcha is produced in the Nisho region of Aichi prefecture, Japan, where the finest Matcha has been grown for over 800 years. Each 100g (3.5 oz) bag is good for approximately 50 servings.
